Challenge : Help Glaaster turn its learning platform into an accessible and engaging experience for children with DYS disorders (6–12), supporting their autonomy and daily use while connecting parents, teachers and speech therapists around their learning journey.

Approach : Combined UX audit, parent/child interviews and longitudinal research to rethink the product positioning. Simplified child navigation, extended gamification across the journey and adapted the UI to shorter attention spans. Shifted the product from a standalone tool to a shared experience between children, parents, teachers and speech therapists.

Impact : Grew from 15 to 100+ partner schools · 115 learners followed over 12+ months · Adopted by 4 engineering schools.

Constraints : Managing bias in research with children · High accessibility requirements for institutional certification.

Tools : Figma · Qualtrics · Pendo · Maze.

The support process unfolded across several phases. Initially, there was an ergonomic audit, followed by user interviews (parents & children), redesigning various pathways based on studies to grasp the usage insights of this infrequent target audience (age: 5-9 years). Numerous workshops were conducted, roadmap development to empower Glaaster teams in their UX research autonomy, and finally, design system, low-fidelity mockups and user testing.
